Holy Spirit Planning Study Announcement

Ever since the parishes of St. Paul's, St. Joseph's, and St. Anthony's were formed into one parish, Holy Spirit, we have been examining our needs as well as our options for serving the Holy Spirit Catholic Community. With input from the Diocese of Boise, Lombard-Conrad Architects, representatives from each of our parish ministries, and input from our parishioners, we are developing a plan to build a new church, hall and religious education classrooms. We are also investigating the feasibility of building a new school on the same site as the church in the future.

During the month of August, 2005 we will be gathering information to gauge the anticipated level of participation from our parishioners, school families, and friends. We hope this study process will enable our parish to better gain a sense of the fund raising potential that exists at Holy Spirit.

We have retained Trinity Consultants, a nationally recognized Catholic fund raising firm to help direct this study. Trinity has completed hundreds of successful major fund raising programs for parishes all across the United States and they come highly recommended. They were selected after a detailed interview process with fellow members of our parish.

During the month of August, every parish family on our mailing list will be contacted and asked to take part in the study process. Executives from Trinity will be conducting one-on-one personal interviews and two Focus Group Meetings with some families and individuals from the parish. A direct mail study questionnaire will be mailed to every home as well. Further, a special web page with our study questionnaire will be made available. The full participation of all parishioners is very important.

I invite you to participate in the study process so that we may complete this study with your input. I am most grateful for your advice and counsel as we move forward with this effort.

Fr. Enrique
