Rev. Costance Swai, ALCP/OSS, serves as Parochial Vicar for Holy Spirit Catholic Community and chaplain at St. John’s Student Center on the ISU campus. Fr. Swai previously served as parochial vicar at St. George’s in Post Falls, St. Joseph’s in Spirit Lake and St. Stanislaus in Rathdrum.  

Born in Tanzania, Father Swai studied philosophy at the Apostles of Jesus Philosophicum in Nairobi, Kenya, and theology at Jordan University College in Morogoro. He was ordained July 10, 2014, in the Diocese of Moshi where he served two years as a parochial vicar and then one year as a seminary instructor.
